Gorgan Trophy ’10. General information.

• Place: Osmoloda village, province Rozhniativ, Ivano-Frankovsk region, Ukraine. Hotel complex “Free winds”. Onsite hotel there is place for tents mounting, servicing yards, etc .
• Base camp coordinates: N48.666970, E24.030762, DATUM: WGS84.

• Information about hotels and villas of Osmoloda viallge: hotel complex “Free winds”, villa “U Ruslany”, villa “Arnika”, rooming house “Hanz”. Additional there is a possibility to stay at spa resort “Pidlyutuy” which is near hotel complex “Free winds” (preliminary information, updates will be done soon).
• Only “Kyivstar” mobile communication is available in the base camp territory and while contest.
• Ecological guarantee: 800 grn. The ecological guarantee is entered for every car which is placed in the base camp (which includes onlooker’s cars). In case of no infraction of ecological requirements the guarantee would be pay back at the end of contest.
• Route dimension is about 150 km. Last petrol station is on Yasin village.

Admission fee is indicated by p.5.10. of General Regulations of FAU Trophy raid cap 2011. Contest rate 1.2 (40 hours).

• Education of strongest sportsmen.
• Growth and increasing of foreign and multiregion affairs in motor racing sphere.

Contest description.

You will need:

• To fill out the application form. In case you have no driving or participant FAU license you would be able to formalize it on place.
• Vehicle in good repair. It should meet the requirements of category you plan to participate in (helmet, medicine box, fire extinguisher).
• For every participant: driving license, state of health certificate, two photos 3x4.
• Protecting helments for men crew team (2 persons).
• GPS navigator.
• Digital camera.
• Tree trunk protector recovery strap (in case you have winch).
• Driving FAU license (155 hrn for every person in a team (at least two persons) and 800 hrn as ecological guarantee).
• Spare parts, supplies of products and outfit.
• Spare fuel can.
• On all participating autos on both splash boards or back side windows must be placed inscription: drivers name and surname, blood group with Rh and national flag reproduction. Printing height is up to 50 mm for splash board and to 100 mm for back side windows.
• Quardbike’s participants must place inscription on helmet with printing height from 15 mm to 50 mm: Printing height is up to 50 mm for splash board and to 100 mm for back side windows.

You will get:

• Set of T-shirt (2 pieces for a team).
• Obligatory insurance on place.
• In case you do not have FAU participant license we will apply for you (participant license only, we will not aplly for driver license).
• Itinerary book.
• Set of labels with inscription (belov) and side number.
• Identification card.
• CP (check points) map (carnet) – will be provided on start.
• Downloading CPs into navigation equipments.
• Place for tent and parking.
• Medical assistance on camp and while route (if needed).
• Participating in contest briefing meeting.
• Camping area (with your tent) near hotel complex “Free winds” with water, portable toilets, sheds, firewoods for grill, bonfire. Emergency ambulance will be on camp.

Will do while contest:

• September 22, from 9 am till 6 pm we will conduct administrative verifications, will provide coordinates of CPs on paper (itinerary book) and digital ways.
• September 22, at 7 pm will come to briefing meeting to ask unclarified questions.
• September 23-25 will get start according to regulation.
• You will need to find CPS and take picture of them together with auto or quardbike according to regulation order. Every CP worths one point.
• You will need to take care of time and will not be late on finish.
• All categories after time allowed on route must be back to base camp (for night) and make relevant checks in CP map (carnet).
• Your CP man (carnet) should be checked on finish.

Will do on route:

• CPs will be of different complexity according to categories.
• Oncoming and in passing traffic of participants and logging trucks will have place.
• You will need to drive by fords and reverbeds.
• You will need to drive by steep hills.
• Tourism route takes into account serial autos without winch, special rubbers and other special equipment.

Under a tabu:

• To infringe contest regulation and code of sport.
• To infringe general ecological standards.
• To loose identification card and CP map (carnet).
• To build a naked flame inside and outside the camp (the grill is in exception).
• To violate public order.
• To use transport from closed parking.
